Kristi Levatino is the Owner and Designer of KB Designs. She is a Louisiana State University Alumni as of May 2007 with a Bachelors of Interior Design. In October of 2005, the concept began with “Gift” Cards for Christmas and later began to take off with a variety of Valentine's Day cards. By the time KB Designs made its debut at the Greenwell Springs Baptist Craft Show in March 2006, the product line had increased to include many other stationery products and gifts.

The Encouragement Can quickly became a best seller gift in November 2006 at the Broadmoor Arts and Crafts Fair. Only a few were produced for this show and they sold out within the first day.  With the response being so great for the Encouragement Can, KB Designs has begun to center its products around encouragement and scripture.
